Our Internet Service providers will be conducting planned router maintenance during the window. No impact is expected on campus connectivity as they will only be doing a single connection at a time.

Wireless Network Maintenance | Residential Housing and Campus
Completed - The scheduled maintenance has been completed.

Scheduled - Network Services will be performing a software upgrade on the Campus and Residential Housing wireless controllers. During the maintenance window, there will be intermittent wireless network connectivity for an estimated 30 minutes while the controllers are rebooted. Notice will be sent out after the maintenance is complete.

Resolved - Splicing was completed at 3:44 AM, and all alarms have cleared.

A future maintenance activity will be needed at OST and Fannin for a permanent fix.

Identified - The site was never down. Redundancy worked as designed.

Investigating - We have received alerts that the network switch at Dynamic One is offline. It is due to a cut fiber optic cable in the Texas Medical Center. The service provider is aware.
