OIT will be undergoing scheduled maintenance of RiceMail, the Rice central mail system. We will update the routing on the Rice email gateway for email that users who have authenticated to RiceMail (smtp.mail.rice.edu) send to Rice Gmail users. A different set of IP addresses will be configured for sending the email, allowing us to configure Rice Gmail to differentiate between authenticated email and anonymous incoming email.

There will be no service outage.
