Scheduled Maintenance
Scheduled - Duo will no longer be providing updates to the Duo Mobile app on older Apple (iOS 10 and earlier) and Google (Android 6 and earlier) smartphones. While the app will continue to work you are encouraged to move to a newer OS release. PIN code, SMS and voice options will continue to work for these older devices as well.

Scheduled - Duo will no longer provide the Duo Mobile app on the App Stores for older Apple (iOS 10 and earlier) and Google (Android 6 and earlier) smartphones. While the app will continue to work if you have it already installed, you will no longer be able to download the Duo Mobile app for these older devices. You are encouraged to move to a newer OS release. PIN code, SMS and voice options will continue to work for these older devices.

To provide RUMPAC with network connectivity (voice/data), fiber splicing within the existing infrastructure is needed. In order to minimize impact, this work will be performed on Monday, January 20 (campus holiday). Buildings impacted will be Brian Patterson (some AV services only), Moody, and Glasscock. Building contacts have been notified.

The work being performed is scheduled for 8 hours. Each individual circuit may experience approximately 30 minutes of down time with overall connectivity to the building not impacted due to redundancy.

Scheduled - There will be a planned network maintenance on the distribution units that affect the following buildings:

Dell Butcher, Abercrombie, Duncan Hall, Jones Graduate School, Fondren Library, Space Science, Rice Stadium, Herring Hall, Central Plant, Health and Wellness, Hanszen Magister House, Police Station, Presidents House, Rice Childcare, Rec Center, RMC, RVA, Ryon Lab, South Plant, Sewall Hall, Sid Rich Magister House, Space Science, and Chaucer House.

These are redundant units so there should not be a loss of connectivity during the maintenance window.

Scheduled - CRC will be performing scheduled maintenance on the NOTS cluster to upgrade the job scheduler.

A scheduler hold will be placed on NOTS and all pending jobs will be purged. The cluster will be unavailable during the maintenance.
