Resolved - Per Box vendor, their teams have validated that all affected services are recovered at this time. No additional impact has been observed and this incident is now considered Resolved.

Investigating - The Box vendor is reporting an issue with Box Drive and some users may see delayed updates synchronizing items from the Box Web App to Box Drive desktop clients. The vendor is currently investigating the issue.

Scheduled - We have identified a software defect and scheduled an emergency maintenance window tonight to resolve issues affecting campus wireless. The details are as follows:

11:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.: Wireless network downtime should be expected while the system is rebooted
11:30 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.: No downtime expected as new firmware is pushed to the wireless access points
3:00 a.m. – 4:00 a.m.: Wireless network downtime should be expected while the system is rebooted for the final time.

Please note that residential rooms will not be impacted by this maintenance but Magister houses will be. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve the performance and reliability of our network.

Scheduled - There will be a planned software upgrade of the Campus Phone System. These are redundant servers, however, sometime between 1 AM and 6 AM on Saturday, there will be several small blips(under a minute) as phones move from their primary server to their backup server and back. This will not affect any calls in progress. There will also be intermittent access to the VoIP self-care portal during this timeframe.

Scheduled - OIT Networking will be performing a firmware upgrade on the Cisco Voice System phones. Sometime after midnight, each phone will be temporarily out of service for approximately 3 minutes while it updates to the new firmware. If there is an active call it will wait until the call is completed before it updates the firmware on that phone.

There will also be several small blips(under a minute) as phones move from their primary server to their backup server and back. This will not affect any calls in progress.
