In order to meet new baseline expectations with InCommon we will be upgrading our SSO service to only accept TLS 1.2 secure connections and higher. For SAML based SSO, this should not be a concern. For CAS based SSO, any SERVER using using TLS versions lower than 1.2 will fail and authentication will not be possible. It is important for any administrators running a CAS based web service that utilizes Rice's identity provider to check their configurations to ensure they are using the proper version of TLS prior to the date of this change.
